Remembering Roberts: INDEPENDENCE DAY

We had a very special guest come visit this July 4th. Aunt Vicky flew in from Tennessee to stay with Grammy for a few days. Nick's uncle Scott moved to Texas in late June so we were able to spend the holiday all together in Nederland. We went to Uncle Scott's pool to soak up the sun and play in the pool. I really enjoyed lounging by the pool catching a tan. Madman and Nick stayed in the water 90% of the time doing boy stuff. This was my first time to meet Uncle Scott and his sweet wife, Maggie. They were so welcoming and we are so excited to have them close to us in Texas. We popped fire works at Nana and Pops with the family; Nick and I also ran to the Floyd's (through the field and over a street) for a little while. The first night Aunt Vicky was in we took her to Pine Tree Lodge in LaBelle.

Daws Photography was offering July 4th minis and used us as the promo. These pictures came out so precious, plus Maddox was really into these since he loves watermelon.
