June 27th thru the 30th we booked a last minute trip to the oh so fun Lake Conroe. Beth, Timmy, Emily and Ally joined us. We rented a condo for the weekend that was part of a country club and lake front. It had a room with a view and a really nice pool to enjoy while we stayed. Timmy brought his boat so we took it out Friday and cruised around the lake. We found a neat little sand bar to stop at; the kids got to jump out of the boat and swim around like little fish. Timmy also had a tube so we all took a couple rounds in this, a first for Madman. He really enjoyed it but was so nervous doing it with just the two girls. He rode with Beth for a little while and did so much better. Nick and I also rode together at one point, so fun! After much fun on the lake we took the boat over to Sam's Boat for lunch. Saturday we spent the day pool side while the guys played golf that morning. When they returned I laid out while the boys ran to get us lunch. Little did we know that the men would find a nice little sports bar to enjoy for a few hours. We then were left with hungry moms and babies, not a good combo. We ended up feeding the kids some stuff we had a the condo and cooling off inside (the boys knew we weren't exactly happy when they got home). That night we drove into the Woodlands and had lunch at Tommy Bahama; there was a bit of a wait but it was totally worth it. Maddox had so much fun with the girls; this was there first time to really get to spend some time together.
