Nick left town so Madman and I ran to Target to pick up Keelie a present and then went to Nana's house to hang out for a little while. Maddox picked this tiger (out of all possible toys) to take home; it just so happens that Bama is playing LSU this weekend. Dad was not happy to see this picture.
After Keelie's birthday party we went to Mrs. Landry's to celebrate her 81st! This strong woman is battling lung cancer and hasn't stopped yet. The Landry family was in town grilling and having drinks. We adore this family and enjoy all of the gatherings the have!
This weekend LSU lost to Bama (38-17) in Tuscaloosa and Daddy was lucky enough to take a road trip to Alabama with his friend Will. Nick tried to make it to at least one game a year to cheer on the Crimson Tide. Daddy came home with some shakers for Madman. We had him a yummy salad with a side of mango ready for Nick when he got home.

Sunday morning Nick received a call that his Papaw Mackie had a heart attack and passed away. Nick and his family lost a great man and a great hunter who will forever be cherished in our hearts.
