"EAT A BUG" AT THE BEAUMONT ART MUSEUM

This beautiful Saturday Madman dressed up as hulk (boy was it a hit) and we headed to the museum for some Halloween fun. Maddox was able to "paint" a sugar skull with colored icing; after we got home he dove right into the clump of sugar. He also go to paint a masterpiece, create a frame using buttons and glue and decorate a Halloween bag incorporating different stickers, stamps and colors. The Energy Museum next door was hosting a Dino Exhibit (bonus!). Maddox was able to paint existing paper mâché dinosaurs as well build a dinosaur by applying the glue and paper mâché himself. He also learned about the Megaladon Dino tooth after digging for fossils using a brush and chisel. It was obvious that the dinosaur exhibits captivated his imagination! Nick and I love watching him learn and interact with other kids; this was a perfect Saturday ended with a big W for Bama football over the Vols! RTR!
