Having Paul, Kim and the girls in for Christmas is always wonderful. We really enjoy watching the kids play and enjoy each others company. This year when they left and headed back to Oklahoma we had the idea to take a road trip and go visit them. What better time than New Years?? We left on the 27th and decided to stay in Dallas for the night then finish our trip the next morning. We love Dallas and all it has to offer. Once we got to Dallas we checked into our Hotel room then walked down to explore the city. Our room view was the Dallas World Aquarium; this gave us the idea to take Madman to explore here before heading to OK. For dinner we had Ceviche as an appetizer, it was fabulous. We were also given a complimentary dessert that was to die for. Maddox enjoyed some pasta. Nick and I were both given free shirts from a couple of ladies promoting a new shot (score!). The Dallas Aquarium was amazing. There were so many different "worlds" to learn about. I was just as intrigued about this place as the 2 year old was, that is until I discovered a HUGE roach that was free to roam. After this I was done with this place and headed straight for the door. We then began our venture to Edmond, Oklahoma. Edmond is such a wonderful city; it is very family oriented. The weather was very cold and had a little bit of snow while we were sleeping!! We spent QT with the Madero family at their house for these few days. The kids played all day every day. We were able to let them loose outside all bundled up. We adults had a few drinks, relaxed and caught up with each other. It was such a relaxing trip. Thanks for having us!! New years morning we packed up and headed back to Texas.
